Smile Crews
Welcome! I’m Dr. Esther Lee, a passionate dentist with over 18 years of experience in helping children achieve and maintain healthy smiles. I graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, where I developed a deep commitment to fostering positive dental experiences for young patients.
I believe that a child's oral health is crucial for their overall well-being, and I strive to create a welcoming and friendly environment for every child who visits my practice. My goal is to educate both kids and their parents about the importance of dental hygiene, making each visit enjoyable and stress-free.
When I’m not caring for little smiles, you can find me spending time with my two beloved dogs. I look forward to partnering with you in your child’s dental journey!

Cavity Treatment:
Fillings: If the cavity is detected, the dentist will remove the decayed portion of the tooth and fill it with a suitable material (such as composite resin, silver amalgam, or glass ionomer).
Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF): In some cases, SDF may be applied to help halt the progression of cavities, especially for very young children or those who are anxious about traditional fillings.
Pulp Treatment:
If the cavity has reached the pulp (the inner part of the tooth), a pulpotomy (removal of part of the pulp) or pulpectomy (removal of the entire pulp) may be needed. This is often done in primary (baby) teeth to preserve them until they naturally fall out.

In a pediatric dental practice, children can receive both traditional braces and Invisalign, depending on their specific orthodontic needs. Traditional braces consist of metal or ceramic brackets attached to the teeth, connected by wires. They are highly effective for a wide range of orthodontic issues, including severe misalignment and bite problems. Regular adjustments, typically every 4-6 weeks, are needed to gradually shift the teeth into the desired position. Many kids enjoy customizing their braces with different colors, making the experience more fun.
Invisalign, on the other hand, is a series of clear, removable aligners that gradually move teeth. Nearly invisible, these aligners are a popular choice for kids and teens who are concerned about aesthetics. They can be removed for eating, brushing, and flossing, promoting better oral hygiene. Aligners are usually changed every 1-2 weeks, and regular check-ups are necessary to monitor progress. The choice between traditional braces and Invisalign often depends on the child’s age, the severity of their dental issues, and their personal preferences, with consultations helping to determine the best option for their unique needs.
